Responsibilities

• At all times strive to represent The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong in a professional, courteous, efficient manner

• Identify and develop strong relationships with key clients, industry partners and tourism organization to ensure strong business return and an optimum reputation across the industry

• Responsible for developing new Travel Trade markets, formulating business plan and packages to maximize Travel Trade revenues as well as achieve sales targets

• Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies for the Travel Trade business

• Tactical sales plans and promotional activities are implemented, and results are monitored and achieved

• Maximize occupancy for rooms and hospitality spaces, associated yields and market profile for the hotel

• Provide market intelligence on booking trends, customer feedback and competitor activity

• Handles budgets for sales activities and promotions

• Identify market needs and trends in Travel Trade market, define the target markets and review the competitors on activities, strategies and promotion

• Conduct site visits, FAM trips, sales trips and trade shows as required based on business requirements and pro-active targets to maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in all markets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, sales, marketing or related discipline

• Minimum 6 years of experience working in a similar role

• In-depth Travel Trade knowledge and possess well-established relationship with Travel Trade organizers

• Proficiency in communication skills and fluency in both oral and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin

• Demonstrated leadership competencies

• A self-starter who is highly driven, goal-oriented and adaptable to change

• Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, influencing skills and networking abilities

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Sales Manager - Travel Trade
