Assistant Human Resources Officer (several posts) (Ref. 21102711-E4)


The appointees will be required to:

(a)    provide administrative and executive support to designated human resource function(s) and be assigned to work at a designated functional division or centralized pool according to the operational needs and individual capability;

(b)    search, collate and compile information / statistics independently under the guidance of officers of the division;

(c)    provide logistics and administrative support to committees and meetings;

(d)    perform data input and assist in collection and analysis of data / information and preparation of policy papers, reports and statistics;

(e)    liaise with internal and external stakeholders;

(f )    assist in organizing and coordinating projects and special events;

(g)    manage and maintain an effective record and filing system;

(h)    answer enquiries; and

(i)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Division Head or his/her delegates.


Applicants should:

(a)    have five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics;

(b)    have at least five years of relevant post-qualification working experience.  Holders of a diploma/recognised degree in Human Resource Management or related disciplines with less experience may also be considered;

(c)    be able to communicate in both written and spoken English and Chinese and preferably Putonghua;

(d)    be proficient in computer applications including MS Word and Excel, preferably also in PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(e)   be able to perform data analysis;

(f )    have good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills;

(g)    be self-motivated and willing to learn and contribute ideas for work improvement; and

(h)    be meticulous and able to perform tasks independently.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointments will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.  Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
