Responsibilities:
- The appointee will provide administrative and logistical support on program administration and student affairs including course administration, student advising and counseling, student-faculty meetings, co- curricular activities and internship opportunities, etc.
- They will also provide academic advisory service for students, e.g. on study path, career plan, exchange, academic problems, etc.
- The appointee will also render administrative and logistical support to the department's daily operation as well as departmental seminars/workshops, academic conferences and other events and functions, and perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Applicants should possess a recognised bachelor’s degree, preferably with 1-2 years of relevant administrative experiences.
- Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Prior work experience in tertiary institutions or relevant commercial organizations, and/or in program administration and student activities would be an advantage.
- The appointee should be highly proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- They should be detail-oriented, self-motivated with excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking skills and good knowledge of IT and software applications.
- They should be able to work independently and as a team, with high flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Candidates with lower qualifications and/or less experience will be considered for appointment as Assistant Officer.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
