The appointee will provide technical support, procurement and laboratory management for the designated research groups. The appointee will also perform communal duties in the research laboratories as assigned.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or any recognized qualifications, preferably with post-qualification working experience in Physics or related fields, such as vacuum systems, cryogenic systems, laser/optical systems, electron or scanning probe microscopy, etc. Practical skills and hands-on experience in mechanical/electronic repair and/or design, semiconductor fabrication as well as computer hardware and software would be advantageous. They should be keen in learning any job-related knowledge and techniques with good interpersonal skills. They should have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word and Excel). (Duration: 2 years, renewable subject to performance review and mutual agreement)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
