Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Civil Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

• To participate in project management and supervision of site works including formulation of project schedules, conceptual and detailed design as well as budget and implementation plans
• To assist in performing safety, cost and quality control throughout various project execution stages from planning and schematic design of site works, audit, construction, testing and commissioning to completion of works
• To liaise with internal and external parties including contractors, government authorities and public stakeholders to resolve environmental, health and safety issues and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements
• To perform the role of Technically Competent Person (TCP) for site supervision for civil/ structural/ geotechnical works

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Structural/ Geotechnical Engineering or related Disciplines
• A minimum of 6 years’ relevant working experience
• Good knowledge in civil, structural and geotechnical engineering design, project management, and contract administration in multi-engineering disciplinary projects
• Familiar with relevant local and international regulations, procedures, standards and codes of practice for site supervision 
• Professional qualifications in safety, health and environmental an advantage
• Solid experience in computer applications including MS Office and engineering software 
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Working Location: Admiralty / Lamma Island, transportation to be provided 

Candidate with less relevant experience may be considered for the positions of Engineer II or Engineer III.
