Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Technical Services Engineer (Communication), the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

• To assist in planning, deploying, and maintaining in-company communication systems
• To assist in provisioning various communication services and executing projects, preparing reports and updating engineering records
• To supervise a small team of technicians and conduct contractor management
• To perform emergency duties and work at irregular hours occasionally

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics /Telecommunications /Information System /Computer Engineering or related disciplines
• Qualifications leading to Corporate Member of HKIE or completed a recognized Scheme ‘A’ training in related disciplines
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience in design, implementation and operation in one or more than one area: TDM optical transmission system, IP-based network, Wi-Fi, PABX, Unified Communication, microwave, TETRA, LoRaWAN systems
• Certification on Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred
• Experience in the government or utilities preferredProficiency in data networking technologies including switching/ routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, IP/MPLS and SRv6 an advantage

  -Cisco/ Huawei/ Nokia/ Juniper network products,

  -Implementation of cybersecurity policies and requirements, or

  -Knowledge in virtual servers, Windows Server and Linux Server

• Proficiency in data networking technologies including switching/ routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, IP/MPLS and SRv6 an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
• Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 and 2 an advantage
