Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Principal IT Lead, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:
• To maintain servers, virtualisation platforms, data storage and backup systems
• To implement system updates, monitor performance and apply security measures to IT systems
• To maintain documentation for system operations and administration
• To collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth system integration with enterprise applications
• To support IT infrastructure-related projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• A minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. Virtualisation platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V)
2. Server OS (e.g. Microsoft Windows Server, Redhat Linux)
3. Data storage and backup platforms (e.g. Huawei, Veeam, EMC)
4. Monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds)
5. Server Security (e.g. Trendmicro, Illumio)

• Certification in any of the above areas an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written

Candidate with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Associate IT Specialist.
