Laboratory Technician (Ref: GEN-MH-CH-LT-R)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Generation Chemist, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

  • To perform sampling and testing for fuel, raw materials and byproducts etc.
  • To monitor plant sampling effluent, water and waste handling
  • To optimise water and wastewater treatment plants
  • To carry out plant inspections and process chemistry control

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma in Chemical or Environmental Technology or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in chemical or environmental laboratory and/or plant
  • Good knowledge of laboratory practices and chemical safety
  • Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
  • Holder of a valid class 1 and 2 driving license an advantage

Working Location: Lamma Island, transportation to be provided.
