Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

• To assist the Chief Engineer in preparation and execution of projects/works
• To assist in planning, permitting, preparation of conceptual design, budget, programme and technical
• specification for the power development projects
• To perform tender evaluations and make recommendations
• To monitor the programme, safety and quality control throughout various project execution stages from
• design, audit, construction, testing and commissioning to completion of works
• To participate in working level meetings with internal and external parties
• To liaise with relevant internal parties, contractors and other external parties to address and resolve
• environmental, quality, health and safety, and interfacing issues, as well as to ensure compliance with legal
• and statutory requirements and other project objectives
• To perform inspection, supervision and coordination works at site

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience and with Corporate Membership of the HKIE
• Solid knowledge in power system including process and machinery and related design standards
• Familiar with relevant local and international regulations, procedures, standards and codes of practice
• Knowledge in project engineering, coordination and contract administration
• Holder of a valid class 1 and 2 driving license an advantage
• Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office, AutoCAD, BIM, etc.
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Candidate with less relevant experience and/or lower qualifications may be consider Project Engineer II, Engineer I or Engineer II.

This is a 2-year contract position. Renewal of contract or appointment as a member is subject to the Company’s business needs and the performance of the individual.

Working Location: Admiralty / Lamma Island, transportation to be provided
