Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist (Network & Security)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the IT Lead, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

• To perform implementation of new IT infrastructure facilities and systems within a highly complex and mission-critical IT environment including enterprise network and cybersecurity technology platforms
• To provide technical support to ensure proper functioning and security protection of IT infrastructure facilities and systems
• To compile new or revise existing IT guidelines and procedures for high efficiency and security
• To conduct proactive and regular system performance reviews and capacity planning to meet the necessary demand
• To evaluate technologies and make recommendations for acquisition and implementation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in large-scale, complex and mission-critical IT infrastructure support or implementation
• Experience in at least two of the following network and security domains:

1. Data centre and access network including wired and wireless (Cisco and Huawei)
2. Network load balancer (F5, VMware)
3. Internet access (Cloudflare, Zscaler)
4. Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, VMware)
5. Security devices (DLP, APT, HSM)

• Professional qualifications in network and security domains are an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of IT Infrastructure Specialist. In addition, employment may be on 2-year contract term and renewal of contract will be subject to the Company’s business needs and performance of the individual.
