CK STEM is a nonprofit organization within the ISF Academy Foundation dedicated to AI teaching and learning, implementation of emerging technologies in curriculum, industry partnerships, and commitment to preparing students for future work capabilities.

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on AI Technologist to join our Pre K-12 educational institution. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and language pedagogy. You will be the primary bridge between our Chinese Language Department and the world of Artificial Intelligence, specifically focusing on building custom tools that personalize the learning journey for our primary school students.

The Role:

As an AI Technologist, your mission is to empower our Chinese teaching faculty. You won’t just be recommending tools; you will be co-coding and developing bespoke AI applications tailored to the nuances of the Chinese language in a Pre K-12 setting for individualized learning —such as, but not exclusively, tonal recognition, character stroke order, and context-aware conversation practice in a setting that honors Chinese culture and the ethos of the ISF Academy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Development: Partner with Chinese language teachers to identify pedagogical "pain points" and develop AI-driven solutions (scripts, bots, or apps).

  • Personalized Learning Architect: Build and maintain codebases for adaptive learning systems that adjust Chinese reading levels and vocabulary exercises based on individual student performance.

  • Prompt Engineering & Scripting: Create and refine advanced prompts and Python/Java Script -based scripts to automate the generation of high-quality, level-appropriate Chinese learning materials.

  • Teacher Training: Lead hands-on workshops for faculty on how to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into their curriculum design and assessment workflows.

  • Ethical Oversight: Ensure all AI implementations prioritize student data privacy and maintain the cultural integrity of the Chinese language curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python (for AI/ML integration), experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, or local models), and basic web development. Familiarity with modern fullstack stacks (TypeScript, Tailwind, Supabase, Java Script, and Twin Motion) is preferred;

  • Understanding of Pre K-12 learning environments; experience in EdTech is highly preferred;

  • Awareness of the delivery of the app to the audience;

  • User friendly/robust;

  • Native or professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with teachers and audit AI outputs; and

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into "teacher-friendly" language.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) specifically for the Chinese Language;

  • Background in gamified learning or interactive storytelling for primary school children;

  • Knowledge of pedagogical frameworks for Second Language Acquisition (SLA); and

  • An active personal developer with a GitHub portfolio or social media (X) presence showing a history of "shipping" small, creative projects.

職位要求
