The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Certificate in Early Childhood Education;
• Direct experience in curriculum design, development, assessment and revision;
• Experience in a leadership capacity, such as serving on curriculum committees, mentoring teachers, and taking on other school-wide administrative initiatives;
• Deep knowledge of educational theory, instructional design, and best teaching practices;
• Strong analytical skills to interpret assessment data, monitor student progress, and use results for data-driven decision-making in curriculum evaluation and modification;
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead, supervise, and collaborate with teachers, principals, superintendents, and the school board;
• At least 5 years’ experience teaching pre-school aged children;
• In being bilingual and can communicate in Cantonese / Putonghua as an advantage; and
• The ability to develop a clear, long-term vision for the district's curriculum and lead complex change management processes for implementation.
