We are now seeking a self-driven, passionate and experienced candidate to fill the following position:
Short-term Teacher of English (Maternity Cover) – Primary School (: PRI/STET/20250930_jdb)
Contract Period: March 2026 to mid-June 2026
Job Responsibilities:
The Short-term Teacher of English will be responsible for providing high-quality, engaging English instruction to Primary students, ensuring continuity and academic progress within the existing curriculum framework. This includes:
Delivering dynamic, student-focused lessons in English, Maths and Visual Arts;
Integrating lessons with the school’s unique bilingual and intercultural environment;
Actively contributing to the positive, supportive learning culture of the Primary School; and
Monitoring and reporting on student progress for the duration of the contract.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree coupled with professional teaching qualifications in Education;
Solid, recent experience in teaching to Primary students is a requirement;
Must be a registered Teacher in Hong Kong;
Must be a Hong Kong Permanent Resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong; and
Experience in a bilingual working environment is advantageous.
