Human Resources Intern (3-month)

Do you like working in a fast-paced, international company? Are you pro-active person and detail-oriented? Do you have a can-do attitude and are you comfortable working with tight deadlines? If yes, then we have an opening for a Human Resources Intern focusing on HR Information Systems, project work, payroll support and administration.
 
The Role
 
This position will support the HR Operations Manager and the HR Business Partner for Hong Kong, supporting payroll processes, project work and administration. The intern will also be responsible for inputting and updating data in the HR Information Systems to ensure data accuracy at all times. He or she will also support all visa-related cases, mobility from various Nielsen offices to Hong Kong, liaise with government authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews with recruiters and line managers
  • Support the payroll process and paperwork
  • Maintain personnel files, HRIS system data, filing and documentation consistently and timely
  • Handle full range of project staff, such as preparing contracts, collecting documents, uploading new joiners information and coordinating payments
  • Manage annual leave, awards and related benefits
  • Coordinate with on- and off-boarding arrangements related to new joiners, pensions, and payments
  • Provide support in medical enrollment and reference checks
  • Manage side letters
  • Welcome and manage the on-boarding of new joiners
  • Participate in ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Student or recent university graduate preferably in Human Resources
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome. Immediate availability is preferred
  • Organized with high work accuracy and detailed oriented is a must
  • Familiar with HK Labour Ordinance, MPF regulations and taxation regulations is a plus but not a must
  • Proficient in MS office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus but not necessary.
  • Reliable, Responsible and Fast Paced
  • Comfortable with ad hoc tasks and able to manage multiple things at once
  • 3-4 days per week
