Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and company goals.
  • Pursue leads to expand the current client portfolio.
  • Self-discipline and self-motivated to effectively manage the sales process through prospect development, opportunities identification, relationship building, orchestra high performing teamwork to drive for credential pitch, client understanding, winning proposal, presentation and closing negotiations.
  • Build capability on business analysis and client presentation skills.
  • Coaching and training junior team members.
  • Timely maintenance to record and track all BD and opportunity pipeline activities and accountable to close deals to meet sales targets.
  • Frequent engagement with the client.
  • Senior stakeholder engagement and management in both the Nielsen and client sides.
  • Understand of various Nielsen solutions and practices and prospective client’s business contexts and what are the latest macro and marketing trends to drive relevant and meaningful conversations.
  • Strong story teller comfortable in presenting and pitching to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude and strong work ethics.

Education and Qualifications

  • At least 6 years’ plus experience.
  • Experience in research and analysis in any B2B industry.
  • Bachelor Degree of Art / Bachelor Degree of Science.
  • Strong commitment for business growth with strong influencing, persuading and sales skills.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.with sufficient business acumen & marketing sense.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.
