Warehouse Manager

Job Highlights

  • Experienced warehouse manager required for an established and fast growing fresh food import and distribution business.  
  • Extremely strong warehouse & packing center operation management experience.

Job Duties

  • Manage warehouse operations, and ensure team compliance to Work Instructions, and SOP’s.
  • Refine SOP’s on warehouse management and operations including shrinkage control; security management; picking accuracy; goods return; and safety.
  • Handle receiving of weekly overseas containers and liaising with logistic & transportation teams.
  • Monitor and manage team performance to achieve KPI’s.
  • Prepare performance reports and review across departments.
  • Hold regular meetings with management covering standard reviews; cross department communication; and in house documentation flow.
  • Review organization structure and manpower utilization within the team; maintaining statistical performance, and financials, including costs, in line with budget.
  • Strong organizing ability to ensure all packing order deadlines are met; accuracy targets are reached and improvement targets for productivity in packing operation are delivered.
  • Monitor all packing equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor stock holding levels, FIFO, and length of storage of goods to ensure quality standards are met and shrinkage targets are reached.


  • At least 5 years managerial experience in warehouse operations and 3 years in FMCG industry. (Operation of a fresh food warehouse is a distinct advantage)
  • Diploma in Operational Management or related disciplines is an advantage
  • Excellent command on written and spoken Chinese, English and Mandarin.  
  • Solid knowledge and experience in MasterSoft are definite advantages.
  • Strong analytical, presentation and problem-solving skill.
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated and detail-minded.
  • Proven communication skills, with an ability to communicate well with senior business management, colleagues, and front line team members
  • A proven desire to make a difference, initiate, implement and drive process improvement
  • A strong track record in being able to forward plan to improve outcomes, including on time operations, cost control, and optimized manpower deployment.

Working hours

  • Monday to Saturday 0900-1800.
