Assistant IT Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead upgrades and maintenance of the company's system to deliver high-quality services and solutions.
  • Oversee end-to-end IT operations including helpdesk support, data entry processes, backup management, etc.
  • Manage on-premises/cloud infrastructure (servers, virtualization, and storage) to ensure uptime for critical medical systems.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety, implement risk assessments, and disaster recovery drills.
  • Improve the organization’s IT Infrastructure, including servers, network, storage, database, cloud services, daily system monitoring and operation tasks.
  • Monitor the IT budget and resources to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Design, implement and maintain IT systems and solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce new technologies and improve process to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify project risks, track necessary actions and support ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, and/ or programming, IT operations, and/ or end-user support, with proven expertise in managing technical staff and vendors to deliver enterprise-scale IT services.
  • Strong problem-solving, management, and analytical skills in areas such as LAN/WAN, Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, server and virtualization platforms, storage/container solutions, disaster recovery management, and backup solutions.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing IT incidents and problems to minimize system downtime and ensure user satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with data migration is highly preferred.
  • Holder of certifications such as MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, VMware, public cloud certifications, AWS/Azure is a significant advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Organized, strong planning and time management skills, able to work under pressure.
