System Analyst (IT-GETS Solution Development)

Reporting to the Assistant Manager/Manager, the System Analyst is responsible for the formulation of user requirements, system design and development work for computer system related to browser based applications for Government and corporate solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and internal users to formulate user specification and functional specification for system designs.

  • Prepare system designs to meets Tradelink customer requirements.

  • Involve in application development.

  • Work with other team members, including external vendors, to carry out effective programming and testing.

  • Produce test plan including test scripts and test cases.

  • Produce specifications and user documentation on software applications being developed.

Job Specifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science or similar credential.

  • At least 4 years of working experience in web application development.

  • Experience on web-based application using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Javascript, XML, Oracle / MySQL and J2EE.

  • Experience for frontend development using Javascript, React, jQuery, CSS, HTML.

  • Experience in Microservice development (RESTful API, Docker, API gateway, Redis, CI/CD) is an advantage.

  • Experience in Apache HTTP server and Tomcat configuration.

  • Familiar with Unix/Linux.

  • Good communication skill in liaising with various levels of users.

  • Self-motivated and able to work as a team to deliver projects under tight schedule.

  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese.
