The appointee will provide support to a research project “An investigation into chloroxylenol, a popular antimicrobial ingredient in hygiene and disinfection products, in Hong Kong through wastewater analysis”. Duties include performing experiments in the field of chemistry and toxicology; collecting and analyzing data; reviewing literature; preparing publications and reports; providing general administrative support and performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Forensic Science or equivalent. He / She should have a good command of written and spoken English, good experimental skills, a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently. Preference will be given to those with experience in mass spectrometry.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
