In this role, you will be at the forefront of product development for our international markets (primarily US, UK, EU, and Australia). You will be the technical gatekeeper, ensuring all products and suppliers comply with stringent global standards. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and third parties, you will drive projects to successful and timely completion, ensuring we deliver safe, high-quality beauty and personal care products to our customers.
What You'll Do:
You will be the technical expert for beauty and personal care product development, ensuring excellence and compliance from concept to delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:
End-to-End Product Compliance: Lead the technical development of beauty and personal care products for international markets, ensuring they meet all relevant regulatory, technical, and customer-specific requirements.
Product Passion & Consumer Insight: Channel your passion for products into understanding consumer behavior, using these insights to drive value and excellence during new product development.
Quality Assurance & Validation: Own the quality assurance process, managing critical activities such as product testing, sample review, and inspection to guarantee on-time delivery of superior products.
Risk Management & Communication: Proactively participate in product risk assessments, effectively communicating any potential quality risks or issues to key stakeholders to enable swift resolution.
Supplier Management & Development: Assess, onboard, and manage supplier capabilities, ensuring they meet our technical standards. Continuously review and drive supplier performance.
Specification & Standards Development: Collaborate with testing labs, vendors, and category teams to develop robust product specifications, performance testing protocols, and inspection criteria.
What You'll Bring:
A bachelor's degree in a scientific field, Quality Management, or Applied Science.
3+ years of proven experience in a technical or quality role, ideally within beauty products, ingredients, chemicals, or raw materials.
A genuine passion for beauty products and a keen interest in market trends.
Experience in supplier management and familiarity with US, UK, or other international market regulations and testing standards.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Chinese word processing).
Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
