Software Engineer - EV Charging Platform

Position Summary


We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our Technology Team and support the continuous development of our intelligent EV Charging Platform.

Our platform consists of a cloud-based Charging Station Management System (CSMS), mobile applications, and connected charging infrastructure. The core platform has already been developed and is currently in production. Your mission will be to continuously improve the platform, develop new features, integrate with third-party systems, and gradually take ownership of the technology stack.

You will work closely with Product Management, UI/UX, System Engineering, and external development partners to deliver a reliable, scalable, and innovative charging platform.



Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance, maintain, and continuously improve the existing Charging Station Management System (CSMS) and mobile application.

  • Develop new features based on product roadmap, business requirements, and customer feedback.

  • Build and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel) and MySQL.

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.

  • Support and enhance communication with charging stations using OCPP 1.6.

  • Collaborate with Product Management, UI/UX Designers, and System Engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Work closely with external software vendors to understand the existing architecture, review implementations, coordinate feature enhancements, and progressively transfer technical ownership in-house.

  • Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

  • Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and production support to ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system stability, security, and scalability.

  • Support software deployment, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • 3+ years of software development experience.

  • Strong experience with PHP and the Laravel Framework.

  • Solid understanding of MySQL database design and optimization.

  • Experience developing RESTful APIs.

  • Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React Native applications.

  • Knowledge of OCPP 1.6 or EV charging technologies is an advantage.

  • Experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms.

  • Experience integrating IoT devices or connected hardware.

  • Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Nginx, or cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience working with external software vendors.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
