Product Designer (Die-cast Models / Toys)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop die-cast model cars, toys and related products — from concept and sketches through sampling and production follow-up

  • Create 2D / 3D product models and design & technical drawings for tooling and production

  • Design in line with licensor brand guidelines (appearance, proportions, logos/marks)

  • Work with engineering, tooling and production on revisions and quality checks

  • Design product packaging, labels and display materials

  • Support product images, short videos and simple animation for social / promo use (Xiaohongshu / Instagram / YouTube / Facebook)


Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Graphic Design or related discipline

  • Around 2+ years relevant design experience; toys / models preferred

  • Proficient in 3D modeling (e.g. SolidWorks / Rhino / ZBrush / Fusion 360 / 3ds Max)

  • Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator; rendering tools (e.g. Keyshot) a plus

  • Understanding of tooling, casting or mass-production process preferred (die-casting a strong plus)

  • Basic video editing / animation ability preferred

  • Creative with good design sense; responsible; able to handle multiple projects independently

  • Good Chinese and English communication; immediate availability preferred


Nice to Have

  • Ability to use AI tools for image / video / animation (e.g. Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Stable Diffusion)

  • Experience with licensed automotive / IP product development

  • Interest in cars, model cars and collectibles

  • Portfolio (product design focus; packaging / rendering / video / AI samples welcome)
