(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)

You will be responsible for:

• assisting Strategic Partnerships & Events team, to manage venue hiring, external filming and advertising business operations of the Public Open Space and Special Venues;

• managing day-to-day administration and reporting of the cross-departmental Public Open Space and Special Venue Venue Hiring Committee;

• managing the entire venue hiring and advertising sales process, including enquiry and site visit handling, proposal, licence agreement and invoice preparation, VEM system application, event management, post-event follow up;

• communicating and working closely with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of all planned and ad-hoc events;

• conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify potential sales and new business;

• providing a wide range of administrative support to the team in a timely manner to ensure the smooth running of business operations;

• maintaining and building good relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders; and

• performing ad hoc and special projects as requested.

You should:

• possess a recognised university degree in marketing and communication or related disciplines;

• minimum 4 years of relevant experience in marketing/communication, sales/partnerships and event management;

• preferably have practical administrative experience in contracting or tendering process;

• be proficient in computer applications e.g. MS Office, Photoshop and ERP;

• be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);

• possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision; and

• be a detail oriented, committed team player with good communication and presentation skills.
