Senior Product Development Manager (Jewelry & Accessories)

Job Accountabilities

  • Responsible for jewelry and hair accessories sales and business development
  • Responsible for execution of briefs and formulating product strategies
  • Communicate with clients on their upcoming needs & wants
  • Coordinate with related parties to ensure new products from design stage to launch are effectively monitored
  • Collaborate with design team to develop seasonal concepts for jewelry
  • Strong in research and development to assist in identifying a continuous stream of commercially valuable new products
  • Responsible for the evaluation of product sales and generate necessary analytical reports accordingly
  • Prepare client portfolios for upcoming trends design
  • Review sales performance and formulate incentive programs in time to enhance it.
  • Conduct in-depth research on similar products among competitors
  • Implement effective sales strategies for achievement of sales target
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Dynamic, positive, and engaging personality
  • Previous experience working directly with clients
  • Sound knowledge and experience in cost calculation, quality control, and jewelry production process, and be able to balance design with commercial constraints
  • Experience working with factories in China and other countries with knowledge of vendor base
  • Have a good product eye and jewelry and accessories knowledge, familiar with US and EU markets
  • University degree or equivalent, in jewelry design & supply chain preferred
  • Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in Jewelry & Accessories
  • Familiar with research resources & channels
  • Fluency in English, with Mandarin and Cantonese skills preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Responsible, detail-minded, flexible, good team player while be able to work independently, able to cope with deadline
  • Ethical business approach
