About the role

We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated, and team-oriented Retail Wine Specialist to join our crew. In this role, you will take initiative to manage daily retail tasks independently while working closely with fellow team members to guide customers through our selection of fine wines, spirits, and pairings, delivering an exceptional and welcoming shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and offer personalized recommendations based on taste preferences, occasions, and food pairings.

• Work productively both independently during quiet hours and collaboratively with team members during peak rushes.

• Organize and restock displays, ensuring proper storage, facing, and accurate pricing tags.

• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations, efficient floor coverage, and shared responsibilities.

• Assist with tasting events, seasonal promotions, and curated wine-of-the-month recommendations.

• Process sales transactions and inventory receiving efficiently using the POS system.

• Create engaging visual displays and keep the retail floor organized and clean.

About you

• Fluent in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin.

• High degree of self-drive to work independently, combined with a collaborative mindset to support coworkers on the sales floor.

• Passion for and basic-to-intermediate knowledge of wines, regions, and varietals (WSET Level 2/3 or Sommelier coursework is a plus).

• Prior retail sales, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.

• Excellent communication skills with an approachable, non-intimidating attitude.
