Technical Officer (TO)

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Applicants shall possess Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Grade 2 (Note 1) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent.


Job Descriptions:

  • Conduct inspections for Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) works at the school site and prepare written reports for the client.  

  • Coordinate with stakeholders on-site to manage work schedules and logistical arrangements.  

  • Monitor site progress and assess workmanship quality. Oversee testing and commissioning processes with contractors, and certify payment based on satisfactory completion.  

  • Arrange and attend the scheduled meeting, pre-handover and handover inspection. 

  • Prepare and agree on lists of defects and supervise the contractor to complete all defect rectification works.

  • Assist in carrying out site checks on contractors’ dimension books.
