Responsibilities:

• Develop the company’s overall production strategy, prepare annual and monthly production plans and targets and allocate manufacturing capacity to ensure effective implementation of production schedules.

• Direct day‑to‑day production activities, including manpower planning, equipment deployment and resource utilization to maximize productivity and efficiency.

• Ensure effective coordination and resource sharing across multiple manufacturing sites.

• Act as the primary liaison for regulatory inspections, customer audits and third‑party audits, ensuring facilities and documentation meet all audit requirements.

• Lead the organization and staffing of production operations, including manpower allocation, training, performance appraisal and enforcement of company policies and safety regulations.

• Oversee Production, QA, QC, Engineering and Warehousing to ensure production processes meet quality, supply chain and regulatory standards.

• Be fully accountable for production quality, cost, efficiency, output, delivery schedules and safety.

• Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to minimise waste, streamline workflows, and elevate overall operational performance.

• Work closely with Sales and Marketing departments to align production planning with the company’s business plan, ensuring manufacturing schedules support market demand and customer commitments.

• Provide regular updates to senior management on production progress, key performance indicators, resource requirements and improvement proposals.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Chinese Medicine or related discipline preferred.

• At least 8 years of managerial experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing, proven experience in managing multiple manufacturing sites is highly preferred.

• Solid experience with automated machinery and production equipment.

• In‑depth knowledge of PIC/S, GMP and Hong Kong pharmaceutical regulations.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment.

• Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (both spoken and written).

• Regular work is required between our Kwai Hing and Yuen Long plants.
