Night Manager, Front Office (Pre-opening)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handles guest requests and complaints adhering to the Company’s general guidelines
  • Handles emergency cases and conducts the investigation of irregularities and undesirable guests
  • Conducts daily patrol of hotel premises and informs department concerned of findings
  • Provides personal service to VIPs, regular guests and long staying guests
  • Acts as Duty Manager to monitor and provide assistance for the operation at Front Office
  • Ensures all opening and closing duties and check-in/out procedures are implemented in accordance with established standards
  • Runs the night audit
  • Prepares reports on accidents to guests, employees, non-hotel guests, as well as reports of loss and/or damage to persons and properties inside the premises
  • Approves rebates within the amount parameters as specified by the hotel’s policies & procedures
  • As the custodian of the guest history database, ensuring profiles are up-to date and information is used in the operation to support guest recognition
  • Handles any adhoc tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor


  • Diploma holder in Hospitality / Hotel Management, or equivalent in related disciplines
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience with 2 years in supervisory level
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and focused on delivering quality customer experiences and services
  • Good command of communication skill
  • Self-motivated, proactive and a good team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Willing to work overnight and on shift is a MUST
