Project Engineer (Structural) (Ref no: 07PES26010016)

Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree (Civil/Structural Engineering), relevant experience in structural design and site works, especially within the construction, plus great analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities to manage complex project issues effectively.

Requirements

• Educational Requirements

- Degree: Bachelor's in Engineering (Civil or Structural Engineering) or related field.

- Advantageous: Master's degree for specialized roles, professional body memberships (e.g., HKIE, IStructE etc).

• Technical Skills

- Software: SAP2000 / STAAD.Pro / ETABS etc

- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction methods, relevant regulations, safety, and environmental matters.

- Planning: Experience in planning, scheduling, narrative, resource planning and method statement.

• Key Competencies

- Analytical: Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills to assess project risks and progress.

- Communication: Excellent written and spoken English (and often Chinese in HK), with ability to liaise with stakeholders.

- Project Management: Sound business acumen, coordination skills, and risk management.

• Experience

- 5-year experience in complex projects, often including specific local project experience (e.g., Hong Kong civil/building projects).
