Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Service Operations
Supervise the central kitchen’s end-to-end food production process, including procurement, preparation, cooking, and packaging.
Ensure all operations meet hygiene and food safety standards, particularly ISO22000 requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
2. Menu Planning & Development
Collaborate with the Division Head and Sous Chef to design and review student meal menus.
Engage with school principals and students to understand dietary preferences and feedback.
Co-develop new, nutritious dishes tailored for students.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO22000 food safety management systems.
Guide administrative staff in preparing required documentation and reports.
Coordinate with external consultants and certification bodies for annual audits.
4. School Canteen & Meal Delivery Oversight
Monitor meal delivery arrangements for kindergartens and primary schools to ensure food safety compliance.
Oversee secondary school canteen operations, including final food preparation, service counters, cashier systems, and hygiene standards.
5. Event & Project Support
Manage food service support for school events such as open days, alumni gatherings, food festivals, and parent workshops.
Coordinate seasonal food projects, including annual turkey preparation and Chinese New Year cookie production.

Qualifications & Experience
· Diploma or above in Food Science, Nutrition, Hospitality Management, or related disciplines.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in food production, catering operations, or central kitchen management.
· Proven experience in menu planning, food safety compliance, and team supervision.
· Familiarity with ISO22000 or other food safety management systems is highly preferred.
· Experience working in school catering or institutional food service is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards applicable in Hong Kong.
· Ability to manage kitchen operations, including procurement, food preparation, packaging, and logistics.
· Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with chefs, operational staff, school staff, and students.
· Proficient in administrative and financial oversight, including budgeting and cost control.
· Capable of leading and evaluating staff performance and managing manpower planning.
Certifications (Preferable but not a must)
· ISO22000 Internal Auditor or Implementation Training
· Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Hong Kong)
· HACCP Certification
· Other relevant food safety or hygiene certifications recognized in Hong Kong
