Assistant Sales Manager – FMCG Management

Job Responsibilities -

  • Trade Promotion & Pricing: Plan, negotiate, and implement trade promotion strategies, off-shelf displays, and annual terms/trading agreements. 

  • Market & Competitor Insights: Analyze sell-in/sell-out data, track category trends, and evaluate promotional ROI to optimize product mix and pricing strategy. 

  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with demand planning, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock availability and smooth order fulfillment. 

  • Listing & Launches: Drive new product listings (NPD) and secure prominent shelf space/visibility in market. 

Job Requirements -

  • Education: Higher Diploma, associate degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines. 

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of solid experience in FMCG sales 

  • Channel Expertise: Proven track record in handling trade-terms negotiations and trade marketing executions. 

  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical sense with experience analyzing sales data, channel margin, and ROI. 

  • Language & Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. 

  • Attributes: Result-oriented, self-motivated, with a dynamic mindset suited to the fast-paced FMCG industry. 

  • Proactive and able to work under stress 

  • Decision-making oriented & able to quickly react to a changing environment.
