Engineering Superintendent (Marine)


Responsibilities:

1. Plan and manage routine inspections and daily/monthly maintenance work plans for vessels

2. Supervising and be responsible for the procurement activities of vessels.

3. Supervising vessel docking; negotiate and coordinate on-site with shipyards

4. Plan and monitor surveys, docking and maintenance; collaborate with vessels’ engineers to resolve technical issues and enforce maintenance standards

5. Identify and coordinate procurement of dry-docking and critical spare parts; ensure timely delivery and maintain Vessel Stores inventory

6. Provide on-site emergency technical support for machine-related incidents; lead troubleshooting and immediate remedial actions

7. Ensure compliance with Maritime Department requirements and maintain relationships with surveyors and external inspectors

8. Provide technical coaching and hands‑on training to Vessels’ engineers; develop successors to address skills gaps and ensure effective vessel repair and maintenance

9. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Higher Diploma in Marine Engineering or a related discipline, knowledge of electrical would be an
advantage

- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the maritime industry

- Proficient with Microsoft Office

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

- Good in English and Chinese, including Mandarin 

- Position requires work on our vessels, and in the dockyard during docking
