Zung Fu Company Limited is the exclusive retailer of Mercedes-Benz cars in Hong Kong and Macau and the exclusive retailer of Smart in Hong Kong. Since late 2003, Zung Fu has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Hyundai cars in Hong Kong. In the PRC, Zung Fu's operations cover 11 cities in Southern China. The Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jardine Motors Group, which is a member of the Jardine Matheson Group.

The Company now invites high caliber candidates for the following position:
Senior Programmer (1 Year Contract)

Job Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of our core proprietary systems.
  • Design, develop, and deploy new features and modules for both back-end and front-end components of our applications.
  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Perform rigorous code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to company standards.
  • Proactively identify and remediate security vulnerabilities within the source code and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver robust and scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage and optimize application performance, ensuring reliability and a seamless user experience.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Analyst Programmer or in a similar role.
  • High proficiency in Python, PHP, C#, Node.js, and modern JavaScript.
  • Strong commercial experience with the React library and its ecosystem for building user interfaces.
  • Solid experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Demonstrable experience with headless CMS platforms, particularly Directus and using Drupal for API-driven content delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with the Azure platform. Proficiency in version control and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and VS Code.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Azure data services like Databricks and Data Factory. Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) will be a significant plus.
  • A strong understanding of both back-end and front-end development principles. A keen eye for security best practices and identifying potential issues in code. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Working Location: Chai Wan
