Production Assistant (Part-time)-(Non-Civil)
Job Description
To provide technical and general production support for radio programmes – “Hong Kong Today” and/or “A Bucket of Gold”, such as handling phone-in calls, newspaper cutting, photocopying and data collecting etc.
(a) Students pursuing a Degree / Higher Diploma / accredited Associate Degree, majoring in Journalism, Communication, Language, Social Science or Media Studies from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; (b) Good understanding of local and international current affairs issues; and (c) Skill relating to news reporting and script writing is an advantage.

Note: (1) Normal working hours: 05:30 – 09:30 and/or 12:15 – 13:15 on Monday to Saturday, including public holidays; may require working irregular hours including midnight; (2) Candidates may be required to sit for a trade test.

Terms of Appointment: Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for not more than one year. Working time per week will be less than 18 hours.

General Notes: (a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria. (g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
