Job Description

The right calibers is expected to,

  • Oversee sales and daily trading process and directly dealing with
  • To work closely with institutional clients, sales and sales traders of local/ overseas office for identification of purchase and sales opportunities.
  • Update of market intelligence on regular basis
  • Manage and work with internal stakeholders on contracts and terms
  • Work closely with logistics team on dispatch plan, schedules, and credit risk
  • To perform proper after-trade follow-up actions
  • Monitor budget, sales, pricing and forecast and prepare monthly reports for top management
  • Physical and bulk commodities traders and sales professionals of all products classes to apply, in particular, experience in any of the following commodities is of interest
  • Metal products: Steel, Nonferrous metals, minerals ore, coal,
  • Energy products: Petroleum, LNG and LPG
  • Agricultural & Forest products: Sugar, corn, wheat, sugar, lumber, Forest products

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Maths, Engineering, Data Science or Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of International Trade Law and physical commodity trading workflow
  • Proven track record in commodity trading (hard or soft commodities) is a MUST
  • Excellent prioritization, communication and presentation skills
  • Occasional traveling required
