Job Description

Reporting to the CEO / COO, responsible to build and lead a team of Program Coordinators and Program Managers, and collaborating with various business partners, marketing and curriculum development teams, the Head of Programs will be responsible for:

• Contributing to the design of employer-led training models for entry-mid level jobs with the objective of making; them sustainable, scalable and replicable across the skills training landscape;
• Support in developing the strategy for scaling up business models;
• Source and build relationships with new business partners:
• Ensure Key program objectives of scale, quality and sustainability are met at all times;
• Develop relationships with targeted market segment, ensuring effective execution of programs are covered, partnerships are developed and requirements are met;
• Manage all program team members, by developing, supporting, and detailing their work plans as well as conducting performance reviews;
• Develop and find suitable partners and cooperation projects;
• Identify and build relationships with organizations and individuals who will likely become partners and supporters. Maintain and work to deepen current relationships. Lead and manage team to be relationship-focused;
• To support the CEO / COO to communicate with corporates for sponsorship, donation and collaboration;
• Establish partnership with relevant stakeholders, including corporates, NGOs, academia, volunteers and individuals, maintain relationships and cultivate a vibrant community in supportive to our programmes;
• Lead employee to develop and implement communications strategies that will increase Branches of Hope’s visibility within Hong Kong and maintain partners and supporters;
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies. Manage internal communications, marketing campaigns, and brand strengthening. Use all available tools to raise public awareness of AHK;
• Seek opportunities for improvement / growth of the programme without guidance;

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in charitable organisation or NGO, with at least 4 years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in managing projects and delivering operational targets.
• Experience working with educational institutions, and/or has knowledge of current trends, issues and the market players in the skills training landscape.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese) is a must. Mandarin and other language a plus.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail, open to frequent feedback from students and the team, with a positive, solutions oriented attitude
• Passionate in Social Service
