Global Key Account Manager / Global Key Account Director (8 Openings)

Job Description:

We are looking for skilled Global Key Account Managers and Global Key Account Directors to oversee the relationship’s of the company with its most important clients. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements. The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

Responsible for the local, regional as well as international key customer account management for the Company, you will have lots of opportunities to get exposed to not only local business partners, but also regional and international. As a result, fluency in English as well as Spanish, German, French, Arabic, Japanese, Russian and other languages will be an advantage. Work aggressively towards corporate objective and work closely with senior management. Develop potential business partners and local distributors in each market for different market segments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new global/local distributors and channel customers via various above-the-line marketing strategies.
  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Meet aggressive sales targets for each customer or distributor in various countries and regions.
  • Formulate and implement competitive strategies, product planning and marketing on a global level.
  • Initiate product marketing strategies & positioning to acquire market shares in accordance with management's expectations.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • Achieve aggressive pre-set Sales Target on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Responsible for all aspects of account management from sales forecasting to new business development.
  • Ensure effective implementation of sales & marketing strategies across various countries and regions.
  • Participate in various international trade exhibitions and travel to meet customers across the region.
  • Identify business opportunities and conduct feasibilities studies to senior management level.
  • Formulate, develop, implement and execute strategic business plans for global projects.
  • Work according to the approved budget/program & take continuous initiatives to improve control of cost & time.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as key account manager.
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field.
  • With working experience in manufacturing companies for mobile accessory products, data storage media products, smart home products as well as travel accessory products would be a great advantage.
  • At least 10-20 years (depending on position applied) of Global Key Account Management experience with good track records.
  • MUST with good knowledge and hands-on experience in Global Distributorship Selection, Qualification, Development, Management, and able to apply KPI on Distributorship Performance.
  • Solid work ethic and strong time and project management skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally or regularly across assigned markets or regions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, self-motivated, independent, hardworking, stable, mature, willing to work overtime and able to work under pressure.
  • Good business sense with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin is a definite advantage.
  • Fluency in Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Korean, & other European languages would also be an advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy including MS Office and Chinese Word Processing (for Greater China Market only).
