Senior Consultant / Consultant (CRM / ERP)

Responsibilities and Duties

These are the responsibilities and duties of the Senior Consultant and Consultant.

  • Design, evaluate, and allocate the division of tasks to the team (oneself, peer Consultant(s) and Senior Consultant(s), and Associate Consultant(s)) according to their know-how, experience, efficiency, ability, and workload.
  • Monitor, check, gather feedback, and modify the assignment of  tasks to ensure timely and quality completion.
  • Complete tasks assigned by oneself or by fellow Consultant(s) and Senior Consultant(s) timely and accurately.
  • Record and report the status of these tasks timely and accurately.
  • Report projects working status to the project manager (role) of individual projects.
  • Assist project manager (role) on working out project schedule; and plan for scheduled resources and events.
  • Together with peer Technical Consultant(s) of his/her team, gather, process, and analyze customer goals in terms of operational, business, technology, time, and budget targets and constraints; and summarize the analysis as customer requirements, and put it into various documentation formats, demonstrations, and presentations.
  • Together with peer Technical Consultant(s) of his/her team, design systems and solutions to fulfil the targets and fit the constraints, and lead the implementation of the solution by assignment of tasks as mentioned above.  Our deliverable solutions may not be limited to information systems, but also include various documentation formats, human process, demonstrations, training, and presentations.
  • Together with peer Technical Consultant(s) of his/her team, divide the designed systems and solutions into platform vs technical portion of works; and take ownership of the platform portion of works.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and detailed estimation of time and effort required by the platform portion of the designed systems and solutions.
  • Explain, convince, and negotiate with customers on the designed solutions, timelines, and scope.
  • Teamwork with other consulting, technical, customer-success, and sales roles in requirement analysis, solution design, and fulfilment.
  • Report to Team Lead / Manager / Senior Manager regarding general project and tasks status.
  • Seek ongoing endorsement from Team Lead / Manager / Senior Manager on requirement understanding, solution design, tasks assignment, and project strategy throughout any project lifecycle.
  • The above duties is not limited to signed customer projects, but also applied to company internal projects, and pre-sales projects.
  • Mentor Associate Consultants to become successful on their own duties, and to progress to be capable of Consultant’s duties.
  • Obtain internal and external certification/qualification as required by the company.


  • At least 5+ years working experience in programming, requirement analysis, and solution design
  • Experienced in business solutions consultation, design, analysis and implementation
  • Ambitious working attitude
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid experience in system design
  • Solid Enterprise Application (CRM, ERP, POS, BI, Data Management) experience is advantageous
  • Solid Enterprise Cloud Computing experience is advantageous
  • Project Management experience/certification like PMP, Scrum, Agile, etc are advantageous
  • Data Analytic experience also have definitely advantage
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and under pressure
  • Ability to manage team of junior technical members during implementation.
  • Ability to conduct business requirement collection, application/system design and proper documentation
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese with ability to speak Mandarin.
  • Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills are required as System Analysts / Consultants works directly with clients
  • Fresh graduates should NOT apply for this position.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Consultant
