Director – Canada Real Estate Sector

Job Description:

  • Data collection, market analysis, and valuation of company and projects related to real estate development projects in Canada market
  • Formulate company and project appraisal model with emphasis on market comparison and income approaches
  • Maintain close relationship with existing clients and bring in new customers
  • An industry wide valuation model is to be maintained and supported using scientific, qualitative, and quantitative approach
  • Conduct risk assessment on concerning companies and projects based on potential changes that could influence their company or project future values
  • Verify appraisees’ project and company genuineness, legitimacy and accurate descriptions of contracts, projects and development plans
  • Forecast and report to company senior management on political, economic, and industry factors that may affect appraisees’ company and projects
  • Conduct due diligence on asset in questions and report to clients and corresponding internal departments
  • Supervise the compilation of comprehensive and professional appraisal reports to clients and internal departments
  • Interviewing industry insiders, leaders and policy makers, in order to obtain relevant data and information
  • Process relevant data on comparable transaction of company and projects to aid in the estimation of appraised values.
  • Supervise subordinates and conduct performance management exercise


  • Bachelor degree in Business/Finance/Marketing/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics
  • More than 3 years of solid experience in real estate development/financing/ M&A/ appraising activities in Canada real estate market
  • Comprehension of Chinese and English is a must
