Assistant / Executive - Compliance


The compliance assistant/executive shall assist the compliance manager to undertake review and risk-assessment of any documentation and correspondence of client companies, directors and beneficial owners and assist to conduct ongoing “know your client” and due diligence monitoring procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in Hong Kong and various offshore jurisdictions.

  • Coordinating with client services team members to ensure client’s company records are current, correct and compliant and to ensure that requisite due diligence has been received and appraised in accordance with relevant Regulations. To include creation of a compliance database. To follow up with client services executives regarding non-compliant companies.
  • Perform compliance check of clients’ companies and relevant entities and identify any companies or entities raise Enhanced Due Diligence concerns.
  • Report of recalcitrant clients and suspicious cases and investigation of suspicious cases.
  • Assist to conduct Risk Assessment of the companies.
  • Accurate and timely filing of all due diligence documents and related correspondence for clients and its affiliated companies.
  • Maintain update and accurate due diligence information and documents
  • Perform other compliance related duties, as required, from time to time
  • Act as a liaison with other agents regarding compliance matters.


  • Sound knowledge on company secretarial operation.
  • Knowledge about regulatory requirements in relation to Anti Money Laundering compliance in Hong Kong and various offshore jurisdictions including BVI and Cayman Islands would be an advantage
  • Preferably with hands-on experience on Anti Money Laundering compliance or Company Secretarial field
  • Strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills..
  • Independent, mature mind, positive work and learning attitude
  • Good computer skills with regards to the Digital Archiving System, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good command of written and spoken in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Candidate with more relevant experience will be considered for the post of Executive.
