Account Executive


Be part of an established local team, supported by a regional business, servicing a key national Tobacco account.  The role will include successfully managing sourcing production and administration tasks with a particular focus on providing a first-class service to the account managers in your team.  Day to day administration from approved quote to invoicing and delivery are the main remit. We are therefore looking for a strong initiative taker, confident communicator, good organizer and problem solver. A major point of excellence will be the ability to work back with the team ensuring mitigation of any delivery risk in a resourceful manner. The candidate will have responsibility for meeting and exceeding revenue and contribution targets set in the monthly and yearly forecast along with achieving our client contracted commitments.


This position covers, but is not necessarily limited to the following:


  • Work alongside the Account Manager to handle and manage all administration tasks: PO’s and PI’s, Invoicing, Reporting …
  • Work with the systems in place and ensure capture of data both internally and externally
  • Ensure customer service is a priority. Identify and resolve all issues relating to customers within agreed SLA’s.
  • Based on Account Manager briefs initiate all processes that lead to a successful and timely delivery.
  • Ensure you communicate accurate project updates and ensure quality samples and artwork for proposals. Diligently follow-up all orders to fulfilment.
  • Participate in proactive innovation to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product and market knowledge, and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Submit all requested reports including but not limited to customer weekly reports, forecasts, profit Improvement plans and MI to the Account Manager in a timely fashion.


  • Minimum 1+ years administration within an agency environment or similar, experience with an FMCG client would be an advantage.
  • Very good presentation skills with strong experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
  • Proactive, good communication skills, a team player, service oriented, attention to detail and follow up.
  • Strong team spirit attitude.
  • To display excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Cantonese, Mandarin and English and format to produce correspondence, progress reports, agreements, tenders, proposals and contracts.
  • To collect and respond to Account Manager feedback in a timely manner.
  • To demonstrate commitment to represent the company at regular customer meetings
  • To demonstrate commitment to maintain and deliver the highest level of customer service
