OTC Finance Manager & Continuous Improvement Leader, APAC

What you will do

This role is an experienced finance expert & continue improvement expert who can independently conduct detailed financial analysis as well as lead transformation across financial operations.

You have the presence to engage with non-financial stakeholders, while also being able to work independently and objectively. To succeed, you will be self-motivated, detail-driven with the ability to step back and take an 80/20 view while working towards strict timeframes.

How you will do it

  • Conduct financial modelling and analysis across end-to-end free cash flow and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
  • Partner closely with business leaders and controllers to define improvement plans and objectives aligned with APAC strategy.
  • Managing interaction with Group Shared Services including Accounting Services, Accounts Payable and Receivable Services
  • Demonstrate ability to identify risks and issues and recommend resolutions with solid problem-solving mindset and quality, lean, six-sigma approach.
  • Organize workstreams to prepare and execute the implementation of improvement projects, with strong change management capabilities.  
  • Establish, monitor, and measure success metrics to consistently integrate behavior data and business feedback into the process.
  • Build change management roadmap including stakeholder analysis, impact study, and change agent facilitation, communication planning, and training material preparation.
  • Work with IT to explore system enhancement opportunities, build business case analysis on automation solutions, and implement process simplification projects.

What we look for

  • This role is desirable for first or second movers from Consulting/Accounting Firms
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering, business, information technology, or a related field; Chartered Accountancy / MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in finance controlling, commercial, financial operations, continuous improvement, consulting, process automation, transactional advisory services, etc.  Experience in consulting experience in a Big 4 or other related professional firms in managing business strategy is a plus.
  • Experience in process transformation, business integrations, IT implementations & automation, project management, continuous improvement with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills of English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to be working across all APAC country geographies and time zones.
