Material Management Specialist, Logistics Solution and Projects
Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co Ltd

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of project management cycle covering inventory management and warehousing and logistics solutions within MM.
  • Closely monitor the project execution plans with regular updates to management and stakeholder.
  • Ensure project are delivered according to the planned milestones, with consideration of safety concerns about people, aircraft and aircraft parts during implementation.
  • Conduct regular meetings internally and externally to formulate user specification and / or functional specification for different projects.
  • Formulate the cost and benefit evaluations for different project initiatives.
  • Negotiate with internal customers and stakeholders and develop the project plans.
  • Closely monitor the implementation progress to ensure projects are executed as planned.
  • Assist in all kinds of implementation activities, including process review, integration testing, system testing and UAT.
  • Coordinate with the solution vendors / providers to solve problems identified in both UAT and production environment.
  • Initiate different project by active study of the latest market available solutions to improve operations efficiency and eliminate the operational risk.

 

What You Need

1. Technical and other Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with hands-on experience in implementing improvement projects.
  • Previous exposure in logistics and warehousing industry and international shipping would be a plus.

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

  • A recognized degree in Logistics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma project as project leader or member.
  • Good analytical, problem solving, presentation, communication and project management skills.
  • Proactive, mature and results oriented.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.  Knowledge in Power BI and Power Automate would be an advantage.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
