About the Project
Airport Authority Hong Kong for the Transit Mail Centre project (TMC)
This is a Design and Build Contract for a 2-storey building to accommodate an advanced mail sorting facility, covering a CFA of approximately 11,3000 m2. The scope of Works will comprise a two-story building, auxiliary buildings, building services installation, external works, landscaping works and associated civil works.
About the Role:
- To manage and coordinate all Building Services (BS) (Design and Construction) works.
- To supervise and monitore the respective progress of BS Designer and Design Checker, BS team and Sub-contractors to deliver the project base on the construction programme.
- To review BS designs and prepare the BS tender documents for the timely issue.
- To coordinate with Client, Utility companies, Government department for the statutory requirement.
- To monitor site progress and resolve matter related to BS site works so as to secure the timely completion of the project.
- To control the BS budget with BS Designer and Sub-contractors for the timely approval of issue of variation orders for project.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Degree or above in Building Services Engineering / E & M Engineering discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience of BSE in construction industry
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
