Job Description:

• Lead the software development team in our R&D Department and report to the Chief Technology Officer.
• Manage day-to-day team operations, providing technical guidance and strategic direction to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
• Oversee the development and deployment of advanced communication systems, including various network connectivity solutions.
• Apply expertise in network function virtualization (NFV) and cloud-native technologies to ensure efficient service orchestration and system integration.
• Guide the design and implementation of mobile core network solutions for diverse mobile and satellite communication technologies, 
• including 5G Core, 4G EPC, 4G VoLTE IMS, 5G VoNR IMS, 3G MSC/VLR.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Conduct UAT tests and implementation of relevant interfaces, service procedures, roaming, and interworking agreements.
• Independently handle end-to-end project management, from planning and execution to delivery. 
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of projects. 
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product vendors, architects, and business units to translate business requests into work items for the development teams to implement.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and industry trends to the CTO and other senior management.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree or higher in computer science or a related field, with hands-on experience in mobile system software development, progressing through roles such as developer and senior manager.
• At least 15 years of development/ managerial experience in a telecommunication software development company, leading software development teams and/or managing outsourcing partners.
• Proven track record in the development and deployment of network technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid skills in C, C++, Golang, PHP, Python, and Java programming languages, and in Linux, Unix, and FreeBSD operating systems.
• Expertise in mobile network technologies including 3G, 4G, and 5G.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and network function virtualization (NFV). 
• Demonstrated experience in software design principles, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Ability to coach and mentor software development team members to function as a highly effective team.
• Experience in the overall performance of Mobile Core Network Product, develop and deliver competitive products of Satellite Network.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
