Project Finance Manager

Job Duties:

  • Lead an experienced project accounting team and oversees the financial operations of a major construction project. 
  • Responsible for planning, leading and monitoring of all activities related to financial reporting, cost controls including cash management and tax compliance.
  • Responsible for month-end closing, interim, annual audit, internal control and compliance, management reports, forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Liaise with external auditors, bankers, government departments and various external stakeholders on project related financial matters.
  • Provide business support and professional advises to project managers and commercial team.
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Job Requirements:

  • This is a key role on a mega construction project which requires the ability communicate efficiently and to work very closely as a business partner with Project and Commercial leaders.
  • A qualified accountant (HKICPA or equivalent)
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of solid accounting experience, preferably in construction industry
  • Newly qualified accountant from reputable Accounting firms will also be considered
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Excel, experience with JD Edwards is a plus
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Able to work independently and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Candidates with less years of experience / qualifications maybe considered as Assistant Project Finance Manager
