The appointee will provide clerical and administrative support to the MSc program of the Department. Duties include but not limited to providing administrative support to program admission and publicity, student recruitment and activities; handling enquiries from prospective students; and performing any other duties as assigned. Working beyond normal office hours may be required.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree. Associate degree/higher diploma holders with at least two years of work experience are also welcome to apply. The appointee should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and be proficient in computer literacy.
Knowledge or experience of CANVA (or Scribus), Illustrator (or Inkscape), Photoshop (or Gimp), website updates, or any opensource alternatives is a plus. The ideal candidate should be attentive to details, have a pleasant, outgoing, and proactive personality, and be able to work independently and be a good team player. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
