The MSc Programs Office looks after a portfolio of specialized MSc programs at the HKUST Business School. Students of the full-time programs are mainly fresh graduates from all over the world while students of the part-time programs are primarily working executives in various industries and functions in Asia, including but not limited to the Greater China region.
The MSc Programs Office is looking for high-calibre candidates to support one of the MSc Programs. The appointee will be involved in all aspects of the program's administration. Duties include supporting the Academic Director in course planning and class scheduling; coordinating with teaching faculty on course delivery; liaising with external and internal parties for classroom booking; providing administrative, on-site and off-site support to instructors; handling student matters; maintaining good relations with various partners and stakeholders (e.g. professional bodies and alumni), and performing daily office work and other related duties as assigned. The appointee will also support the marketing and admissions process of the program.
Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in a business discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in program administration and/or in the education sector. The ideal candidate has a problem-solving mindset and an outgoing personality, is able to work both independently and in a team, shows attention to detail, and is able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. The appointee should also be a good team player and possess good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as co-ordination skills. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required. Working outside normal office hours, including weekends/ public holidays or evenings is occasionally required. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
