Linux Specialist (over $60K)

Job Description:

  • Responsible for installation, upgrade, server hardening and maintenance of Linux operating system and application software on big data system;
  • Maintain daily operation of the system and perform health check, troubleshooting, performance monitoring and capacity planning, etc.;
  • Provide advice and guidance on all related system upgrade and maintenance activities;
  •  Collaborate and communicate with internal and external parties regarding system issue and cause analysis.


Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in IT
  • At least 5 years' experience in application system maintenance;
  •  At least 1 year experience in Linux system administration
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI is preferable;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving ability; and
  • Organised, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-minded and passionate in technology.
