Project Manager (Infrastructure, Wan Chai, over $60K)

Job Description:

  • Assist in design, implementation and support for the IT infrastructure and operation required in the Games
  • Assist in preparing and implementing the comprehensive IT plans for the Games, including infrastructure
  • setup, application development and system integration
  • Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders in Hong Kong and Guangdong Province in supporting the installation
  • and integration of IT hardware and software in various venues
  • Provide technical expertise in system integration and ensure the IT systems and IT infrastructure meeting
  • the needs of the Games
  • Prepare documents for procurement of hardware, software and related services
  • Provide support on the implementation, integration, administration and trouble-shooting of network
  • infrastructure, and sports competition and management systems
  • Oversee the transition of IT services between different phases of the Games
  • Assist in project progress monitoring, user coordination, requirement gathering, management of contractor
  • performance, project progress review, quality assurance of project deliverables and acceptance testing
  • Ensure projects can be implemented in compliance with numerous IT policy and guidelines
  • Undertake other IT-related duties assigned by supervisor

Requirement Details:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects
  • At least 4 years' experience in IT industry
  • Possess at least 4 years' experience in system implementation, endpoint device management, and IT
  • infrastructure administration
  • Possess at least 1 year's experience in game core information system (e.g. Timing and Scoring System)
  • Possess at least 1 year's experience in system implementation and support for sports events
  • Moderate Exposure of Putonghua in Work
